This 32 is the slightly slimmed-down top model from FOX for cross-country and marathon use. Despite the 32 mm stanchions, the suspension fork offers enormous rigidity values on par with the FOX 34 Step-Cast forks.
The entry into the world of Fox suspension forks for cross country and marathon riders begins with the forks of the Performance series.
The 3-Pos Grip dampers with the closed cartridge have the same structural design as the FIT4 dampers. As a result, the fork has a significantly higher spring travel and a smoother response while maintaining the same performance.
32 mm stanchions with a low-friction coating and exclusive SKF seals guarantee a long service life. Different tuning options ensure the best performance on the trail, provided they are set correctly. And that is exactly where the problem lies. Many hobby drivers are overwhelmed by this and do not fully exploit the potential of their chassis due to incorrect settings. The result is more frustration than pleasure while biking.
To prevent such problems in the future, Fox thought about it and developed the 3-pos system. This extremely simplifies the adjustment of the compression levels, as well as the adjustment of the spring elements among each other and thus enables an unparalleled performance and harmony of your chassis.32 SC chassis design
The distinctive shape of the immersion tube design is not just for the visuals. With the Step-Cast (SC) fork chassis of the 32 series, FOX uses a narrow design to save weight. The step in the lower part of the fork creates space for the spokes and the brake rotor. The 32 SC fork scores with excellent handling characteristics. 32 mm stanchions and generously overlapping sockets ensure precise implementation of the steering impulses.

3-POS GRIP damper
Inspired by motocross technology, the GRIP damper cartridge works with a spring-loaded, independently working, floating piston. The GRIP technology allows the excess damping oil to flow through ports at the upper end of the damper, which guarantees even damping and increases durability. The forks of the Performance Series series provide the modes Open, Medium and Firm as well as an additional fine adjustment option between these three basic settings. Is an intuitive driving dynamics system with preset compression level with 3 different modes: Open, Medium and Firm. The driver now only has to worry about setting the spring preload and rebound.

EVOL
The response of the fork is significantly improved by the enlarged negative air chamber. This increases comfort because the breakaway torque can be reduced. In addition, a more linear spring characteristic offers better performance, especially in the middle travel ranges.

FLOAT AIR SPRING
The FLOAT air suspension system reduces the breakaway torque and thus offers a highly sensitive fork and full comfort even with small impacts. And that for every type of driver and with the most varied of air pressures. Similar to the FLOAT spring struts, the FLOAT spring system is characterized by a positive and a negative air chamber, which automatically counterbalance each other when driving. Every driver can enjoy the benefits of the correct, precisely balanced air pressure in both air chambers. The progression of the spring characteristic can be adjusted with our air volume spacers – which enables every driver to set the characteristics of the air spring precisely.

AIR VOLUME SPACERS
