At just under 420g, it’s not quite as light as the Ultra version, but the approved system weight of 125 kg proves that savings have been made on everything, just not on safety. How did the French do this? They took a closer look at the individual elements of the rim and looked for optimization options. In particular, a new resin was used. This not only made it possible to slim down, but also to increase impact resistance at the same time. Thanks to the SLS2 production process, post-processing or painting is not necessary here. The use of highly modular carbon fibers also improves the inherent damping, which in turn has a positive effect on driving comfort. The modified structure enables unrestricted tubeless use and brings measurable aerodynamic advantages.
