The GX1 rear derailleur incorporates the same technologies as the top derailleur, including the improved Type 2.1 (Roller Bearing Clutch) rear derailleur for smoother, cleaner running of the chain. The rear derailleur parallelogram perfectly matches the gradation of the 10-42 cassette, providing fast and accurate gear changes across the entire range. The 12-tooth roller pulleys with the X-Sync tooth profile improve the chain guidance. Through the X-Actuation, the switching processes across the entire width of the cassette are constant and precise. The PG-1130 cassette allows the inexpensive entry into the 1×11 drives. It blends perfectly with the NX MTB 1-bay and the Apex 1 ROAD 1-bay golf courses. Due to its robust construction, it is also ideal for e-bikes.

Thanks to the Zero Loss function, the switching operations take place without delay.
